We call you

Once you book, we phone you at the time you picked, on the number you give us. You do not need to call in — though you always can, on the number published on our contact page.

Our call will always quote your AF- reference. If a call ever feels wrong, hang up and call us back on the published number. We will never object.

What this costs

Booking and your appointment are free. You pay nothing up front and nothing while work is under way — no retainer, no deposit, no release fee.

A fee applies only if money is actually recovered and reaches you, agreed in writing beforehand. If nothing is recovered, you owe nothing.

If you sign our agreement, you have 14 days to cancel it for any reason, without giving a reason and without charge. After that you can still end it at any time, and you owe nothing unless recovered money has already reached you.

Anyone asking you to pay before funds reach you — including someone using our name — is committing fraud.

You can claim for free without us

If you sent money by Faster Payments or CHAPS on or after 7 October 2024, you can ask your own bank or building society for reimbursement under the APP scam rules — up to £85,000, at no cost.
You can complain to any bank or financial firm yourself, and if you are unhappy with the answer, take it to the Financial Ombudsman Service. The Ombudsman is free and you do not need anyone to represent you.
Reporting to Report Fraud (or Police Scotland on 101) and to your bank is always free.

What we can and cannot do

We can assess your position, work out which bodies need your report, prepare your evidence package, pursue your bank and Financial Ombudsman complaints, and take the matter forward under a written agreement — including, where court action is needed, Norwich Pharmacal orders, freezing injunctions and civil recovery proceedings.

We cannot guarantee an outcome, or act where we have a conflict. Your first appointment is an assessment, and nothing is payable before recovered money reaches you.

Your information

We collect only what the appointment needs and use it only for that purpose, under UK GDPR. You can withdraw consent, see what we hold, or ask for deletion at any time, and you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how we handle it. Amounts are collected as ranges, never exact balances.

Never enter a National Insurance number, full account number, password or one-time code into this form — or any form. We do not need them.
